He currently holds a Master’s of Divinity, a Master’s of Arts in Religion, and a Master’s of Religious Education from Liberty University, and is working on his Master’s of Theology with an emphasis on Church History and a Doctorate of Ministry with an emphasis on Church Planting and Evangelism.

His favorite verse is Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Mark Jenkins
Associate Pastor
Mark is our newest staff member at Berea but is well seasoned in serving the Lord and bearing witness of the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is joining us from Grove Avenue Baptist Church and we are so blessed to have him.

Norah Pence
Teacher
Norah graduated from Mary Baldwin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and PK-6 Elementary Education certification. She worked in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania schools at the beginning of her teaching career. After a teaching hiatus to raise children, her family moved to Montpelier in 2017 and she began working for Hanover schools. She gained valuable experience working in different situations as SOL tutor, homebound instructor and long-term substitute. Norah thought she would try to pursue work outside of education but God has shown her that she is not quite done with it. Through prayer, encouragement from her family, Alexis and Nan, Norah is following God’s call to be part of FCA and she is very excited for what’s to come. Norah currently teaches our 4th and 5th grade class.

Crystal Wilson
Teacher
Crystal graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Counseling, a minor in Special Education, and a teaching certification. Crystal taught in Virginia public schools, most recently Hanover, for 17 years. She mostly worked with students with learning disabilities at the elementary level. After seeking a better, Christ-centered education for her own children, they were all thrilled to have the opportunity to join the FCAC family. Crystal is so excited to be at FCAC and share Christ’s love with her students! She currently teaches our first grade class.

Katie Schools
Teacher
Katie Schools is the 3rd grade teacher at FCAC. Katie graduated from Randolph-Macon College in May 2023 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education. In all of her practicum experience, she was able to work with students at all elementary grades. She has become a teacher because she really enjoys working with students and sharing her passion and love for learning.

Kerrie Nagle
Teacher
Kerri Nagle grew up in upstate New York and received an undergraduate degree from Westfield State College in Education. She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Le Moyne College.
Kerri has taught in Hanover, Henrico and Goochland Counties for over 15 years and is currently our second grade teacher at Faith Community Academy Cooperative! Outside of teaching, Kerri has lead woman’s bible studies and enjoys volunteering in various capacities within the church. She resides in Goochland, VA with her husband and their three sons.
